Got the new design up. Spent most of the morning learning how to make GoLive do stuff that I used to type by hand. Still, I'm pretty pleased with the effort. My next goal is making rollovers.

So! Had the first readthrough. My heavens, is this show "talky." By that I mean that a lazy actor (or a good actor with a lazy director) could simply sit back and expect the text to do all the storytelling, and generally just bore the hell out of everyone.

What we have to do, then, is get to the emotions. The molecule of good theatre (which I suppose would be Th, but that's already Thorium (damn)) is a real relationship between the characters.

Now I have to come up with a rehearsal schedule. Get the props together. Get the sound together. Make the show good.

In a month. Lord help me.

Sorry about the delay. Angsty things going on. Resolved now.

Okay. So, have the cast in place for Signal. We have our first readthrough tomorrow night. They're all good friends of mine (and my wife), which helps a lot.

The webdesign on codt.com is pretty ugly. Fortunately, I should have Adobe GoLive in my hot little hands shortly, and will be working on a better-looking design soon.

No idea when tickets will be available from Uptown Tix. That's being coordinated by the Fringe, en masse.
